Thank you so very much for the excellent service Hail-Safe has received from The Ideal Marketing Company.
As a new-starter business with all the usual set-up costs, I had to think long and hard about whether I could justify yet more expense for marketing; especially since I have a degree in Business Studies and gained the top marks in my year for Marketing. In fact I had already written my own press release when I contacted you – tempted by the offer of a free 1 hour marketing consultation. I was immediately impressed by your ideas, which did not mirror my own. I decided the purchase of one day’s worth of PR from The Ideal Marketing Company would probably be a sound investment.
When you emailed the press release I actually laughed out loud. It was vibrant, punchy and interesting, yet contained all the relevant facts – oh so different to my own turgid, boring effort. I knew I had made a very astute move employing your services.
At your suggestion, we staggered the press release geographically. The reaction of the London media has been nothing short of explosive. Thank you for the much needed advice on preparation for radio interviews and TV appearances. So far we have been featured on BBC TV, BBC Radio, Capital Radio, LBC, Essex FM, Mercury Radio, The Evening Standard, and now even Time Out magazine. Unbelievably the coverage on each has run almost as a commercial for our service, giving out our phone numbers and website address – even by the BBC!
My advice to anyone starting their own business would be to leave the marketing to the specialists. People often say “a good product speaks for itself”. This may have been true twenty years ago, but in today’s media scrum, where thousands of press releases are emailed to the features editors each day, only those press releases with “the edge” will make it to the top of the pile. I will be recommending your marketing company to everyone – except my competitors!
