Branding is not easy – particulalry when you have supermarket own lalel products who are quick to copy your look and (in this case) smell.

However, if you were to look into a text book case on how to brand a difficult product properly, look no further than Lynx. For over a decade they have been putting across the message that their product makes men irresistible to attractive women in a way that is funny and memorable. In an area that could easily be seen as sexist, they have managed to go for humour that surely cannot offend many people – and certainly not those in their target audience.

The latest advert which is airing on TV and at cinemas is a great addition to the series an one that is sure to turn a few more heads. Brilliant branding like this takes time and a great deal of thought.
